At the branch level, we constantly nurture and promote an interconnected office culture that extends to our candidates. Our account managers are actively involved in candidate selection, while our recruiting teams conduct extensive background and reference checks on every candidate we refer. We understand the substantial financial cost of a hiring mistake and realize that it is essential that our candidates are the right cultural fit for the client we match them with. Our principal goal is to place candidates who will fit seamlessly within each client's work environment and contribute meaningfully to achieving client business objectives.

All of our recruiters have been trained in professional recruiting techniques and sales skills in order to uncover and attract the most qualified candidates. On average, a Modis branch recruiting team member has eight years of IT and/or recruiting experience. Additionally, most of our recruiting teams include at least one former IT consultant who can draw upon their own knowledge to not only deliver the best candidate for virtually any position, but to also recommend additional candidates for other project needs.

Pipelining Candidates

Our sophisticated pipeline recruiting model helps our local recruiting teams take a proactive approach to recruiting and allows us to efficiently provide clients with high-quality candidates. With pipeline recruiting, each Modis office chooses the most sought-after IT skillsets within their region by reviewing their branch placements over the past year, as well as local market data. Each recruiter then becomes a specialist of a small group of those "hot" skillsets. They are tasked with having 10-15 available and pre-screened consultants within those specific skillsets at all times. Collectively, each branch office then has a team of recruiters who are experts in each of the major IT skillsets in their local market. At any moment in time, each branch has a comprehensive list of ready-to-work candidates across all skillsets within that market.

Proven Customized Recruiting and Screening

Modis ensures that we are on the forefront of technological and functional advances when it comes to recruiting and screening talent. We pilot HireVue for our clients operating in many locations to facilitate interviews and communication via video, mobile and social media applications. In addition, we employ block interviews to enable our clients to efficiently interview multiple pre-screened candidates in the most time-effective manner possible. Further, Modis understands the importance of connecting top IT talent, including foreign-born workers, with our clients. We have developed our own Modis Immigration Sponsorship Program (MISP) with this in mind, helping qualified consultants from all over the world work with our clients.
