Ab Initio Jobs
Ab Initio software is a data analysis, batch processing, data manipulation graphical user interface (GUI)-based parallel processing tool commonly used to extract, transform and load ETL data. It runs across a variety of Operating Systems and Hardware Platforms including OS/390, zOS on Mainframe, UNIX, Linux, and Windows. Ab Initio makes simple use of disparate data forms and formats, even from different hardware platforms, and uses its powerful data processing software to merge it into a concise information source.
The individual responsible for this process consolidates various data types and uses the system to consolidate the information into one reliable source. This, in turn, helps organizations define their mission objective in a much more organized way. Candidates for this position need to be dedicated to determining and understanding different business intelligence projects as well as be a solutions-based person. They will be expected to work with a team in developing and implementing testing procedures and analyzing data from the results. Ab Initio developers may be required to prepare and present different specifications for new concepts and program modification if necessary.
