JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities: Our client is currently seeking a dynamic individual who is client focused and energetic to join a tightly knit team with a strong desire for excellence in service delivery and support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Providing centralized Service Desk support (Tier 1) to company users experiencing software and hardware problems over the phone.
• Providing high levels of customer satisfaction through trouble-shooting and call resolution.
• Taking ownership of issues and coordinating proper escalation.
• Utilizing call tracking systems for the purposes of logging, monitoring and communication of daily support requests and issues.

PRIMARY SKILL SET:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:
1. Strong communication skills (Written and Verbal).
2. Strong desire to learn, improve and to help people.
3. Strong troubleshooting skills with respect to computer Hardware. (e.g. Desktop Computers, Laptop computers, Printers, PDA devices)
4. Strong troubleshooting skills with respect to computer Software. (e.g. Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes,)
5. Have the ability to work under pressure with little supervision.

Asset Skills:
• Tier 1 experience working within an Information Technology Service Desk environment.
• Working knowledge of ITIL and ITSM concepts
• Active Directory and networking concepts
• SAP
• VMware
• Dell hardware certification
• HP hardware certification
• A+ certification
• Altiris

Hours of Work: Range from - 7:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. – 8 hour shifts will be within these hours, but some overtime may be required/needed.
