Responsible for assisting the Sr. Developer and the Operations Manager in the implementation, administration, maintenance and support of in-house technology solutions in development or already implemented. Responsible for resource monitoring, management, reporting, troubleshooting, security and disaster recovery of databases and data indices.
Required skills: Position requires a BS in Computer Science or 5 – 10 years work experience in a related field. Candidate must possess basic scripting and Microsoft.Net programming languages, Javascript, HTML and XML. Must be proficient with SQL 2000/SQL 2005 and all related services. SharePoint 2007; web development using VB.Net, SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 , C# --creating databases, writing stored procedures and functions, webs services, etc.
Strong working knowledge of servers, Sans, Switches routers, firewalls is a definite plus. Candidate must work well in a team environment and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
