Data Warehouse Jobs

Data warehouse positions are important positions within a modern company’s infrastructure. Candidates for these positions must be familiar with a variety of design platforms that are involved with the development and delivery of business intelligence projects. The individual must be solutions-based, and be able write code and develop parameters necessary for the correct functioning of the organization. Data modeling is an important skill as well. Candidates should be able to evaluate necessary business requirements of the company and find ways to implement new concepts and initiatives based on analytic results. Creation of ETL and OLAP views are important and documentation of all solutions and best-practices is an additional asset. Team building and end-user knowledge will help a data warehouse employee prepare for any possible contingencies. Employees may also be required to present specifications for programming and new concepts for development upon request.
