Quality assurance jobs entail ensuring that a product or service is suitable for its intended purposes and provide customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding expectations. The products created by our clients are likely to be software, web applications, or websites. The employee will likely be responsible for organizing quality assurance activities, monitoring performance of the quality assurance system, providing data and reports on the quality management system, communicating with other employees to ensure the system is working correctly, setting objectives and goals, maintaining awareness of profitability, working with purchasing staff, ensuring compliance with product and safety standards, and maintaining controls and procedures for documenting. The necessary skills are: personal integrity, confidence, motivation, effective communication, organization, detail orientation, a strong knowledge of methods and practices, professional writing skills, and familiarity with current software.
