Job Description
The SharePoint Developer helps develop, implement, and maintain the SharePoint application base. Will be the SME, able to interact with all areas of the business for the purpose of training and administration of all SharePoint issues and updates. You will provide technical service and development for the SharePoint collaboration environments.  Be involved with all aspects of the technical and business analysis, process definition, and process/how-to documentation.  Be a part of the governance team that helps drive the rules and processes within SharePoint.

Required Qualifications
1-2  years experience developing software applications using two or more of the following Microsoft technologies: C#, ASP.Net, Visual Basic.Net, APMicrosoft.Net, Visual Interdev, Transaction Server, COM, DCOM, and ActiveX. Prior experience using any Windows-based development tools such as PowerBuilder or Visual Basic. Experience developing to MS SQL Server, MS Access or Oracle databases. In addition, experience with Crystal Reports or a similar reporting tool is required. 
 
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field. 

Required Skills
•         A solid understanding of .NET technologies, specifically C# and ASP.NET
•         Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, InfoPath, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
•         Understanding of SharePoint 2010 object model and solution development
•         Experience in the following technologies: 
C#, jQuery, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, SQL Server 2005/2008, Visual Studio, Reporting Services, ASP, VB Script, TFS (or VSS)
•         Solid understanding of enterprise level architecture frameworks and processes
•         Ability to work in a team environment and communicate ideas effectively and establish a good working relationship with peers and outside organizations

 
Desired Experience
•         Experience with Microsoft Office XP, Perforce, Source Code Repositories, and Visio Professional.
•         Understanding with SharePoint 2007/2010 SharePoint Designer
•         2+ years’ experience configuring and customizing web parts in 2010
•         Strong knowledge of SharePoint object model
•         Knowledge with CSS, custom site templates, multiple master pages
•         Ability to follow Software Development Lifecycle practices.
•         Ensure development is properly covering defined requirements by working with QA & Unit testing teams. 
•         Understanding using debugging software effectively
•         Experience developing web applications and web services, and web parts
