Web Developer II

We are looking for someone that is a talented and experienced Web front-end developer with knowledge in the current web technologies (JavaScript, jQuery/UI, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, XML), current practices, and comfortable in interfacing with web services. Knowledge of Python, perl, Java, C#, C++, Ruby or other coding language a plus.

Basic Qualifications:
* 3+ years of Web development experience with multiple release cycles

* Expert web development skills, including cross-browser HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Web 2.0 techniques

* Experience creating scalable, high performance JavaScript Web Applications


Preferred Qualifications:
* Passion for creating efficient, scalable, highly usable web interfaces

* Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

* Knowledge of JQuery and JQueryUI or other scripting libraries (e.g. Closure, Dojo, MooTools)

* Knowledge of Python, perl, GIT

* Worked directly with developers

* Has programmed in an object oriented language such as Java, C#, C++, Ruby or the like before

* CS degree or equivalent experience

* Experienced with Agile methodologies and Scrum

* Excellent communication skills
* Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment

* Experience developing AJAX interfaces with AJAX libraries and frameworks
* Knowledge of Usability principals, Cross-browser compatibility, accessibility Best Practices and HTML document architecture

* Work well in teams, respecting and welcoming ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts
