To that end, Modis currently has a long-term 3rd Shift NOC Technician/Junior Systems Administrator need in South County, MO.

  • Candidates MUST be able to pass a credit check prior to submittal.
  • Candidates MUST be local to St. Louis.
  • Candidates MUST be available to work overnights.
  • Candidates MUST be available to work weekends.
  • Salary maximum will be $60,000

Technical Skills

  • Candidates MUST have experience supporting Windows Servers.
  • Candidates MUST have experience with Active Directory and MS Exchange.
  • Experience with SCCM a plus.
  • Experience with Linux preferred.
  • Cisco experience preferred.


  • Under minimal supervision, monitor network and server infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Escalate, as needed.
  • Document all issues in ticketing system.
  • Create and manage file transfers via cross-platform scheduling software.
  • Configure monitoring tools to provide availability and performance metrics.

  • Thoroughly document all incidents and requests in ticketing system.
  • Monitor infrastructure (servers, network, applications, etc.) for faults or performance problems.
  • Perform triage and escalate issues to support teams.
  • Provide information to supports teams as needed to resolve issues.
  • Intelligently troubleshoot server, network, and file transfer issues.
  • Produce reports from monitoring data.
  • Work with customers to develop new reports.


  • 3 – 5 years of experience in a technology-related field, preferably with at least 2 years providing direct customer support.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze and intelligently troubleshoot issues.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
