A long term, contract to hire Aerospace Test Technician job in Plano, TX is available through Modis.
Aerospace Test Technician job responsibilities include:

Performs functional tests from established test procedures. Working with Engineering and other technical documentation, develops Functional and rebuild test Procedures
Inspects Assemblies and subassemblies for proper function, component selection, alignment, orientation and solder connection.
Troubleshoots defective components and / or systems.
Repairs defective components and / or systems as assigned.
Understanding of GPIB, RS232, RS485, CameraLink, GigE, etc. is a plus.
Maintains ESD protected areas and all required charts.
Ability to solder through hole and surface mount components.
Debug to component level analog, digital and microcontroller circuits


QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate of Science or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or equivalent required
Minimum 7 years relevant experience.
Must have previous experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft electro-mechanical assemblies
Must have experience using various measuring instruments such as a digital multi-meter and oscilloscope
Must possess blueprint and schematic reading skills
