Modis has an immediate job opening for an Agile Coach role here in St. Louis area.  This position Provide coaching and mentoring for three pilot iterative projects that are incorporating Agile processes and principles.  Develop and lead Scrum masters and alleviate disruptions in the SDLC process by identifying areas of improvement and conceptualizing methods on how to be more efficient. Work alongside other competencies to improve the overall Agile process across all projects. Improve communications within the SDLC to communicate expectations that are clear and delivered to all ears in the same way. Ensure messages are not misconstrued or incorrectly inferred and work to eliminate any confusion and misalignment that may hinder the ability to deliver software. Build an environment where continuous improvement of the development process is constantly in focus. Envision new ways to help teams work cohesively.

Job Responsibilities
• Delivery of targeted training and coaching to introduce and support the development of skills in Agile practices for project teams, management, and other key stakeholders
• Providing teams with ongoing support to accelerate their learnings, overcome obstacles, customize solutions to meet their needs, and dispel common myths
• Integrating Agile practices for project management into the Project Management Office/portfolio project management framework and tool kit
• Developing and conducting training on Agile topics and the Agile Software Development process
• Leading by example and modeling the Agile practices, including becoming engaged as a Scrum Master as needed
 
Qualifications and Skills:
 
• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach
• 10+ years of experience with working in the Agile Framework, including Scrum, Kanban, or Lean
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring Jira to support all aspects of the delivery cycle
• Experience with Agile test-driven development, automated testing, and continuous integration environments
• Experience with distributed development/business teams that span multiple geographies, time zones, and cultures
• Experience with software development and product cycles, including Scrum and Agile development techniques, such as release planning and tracking
• Knowledge of business functions and business operations, strategies, and objectives
• Ability to manage multiple teams and product roadmaps
• Ability to recognize and perform timely impediment recognition and escalation
