The Aircraft Cabin Designer is responsible for developing functional and aesthetic design concepts for VVIP aircraft interiors, and rendering or communicating the designs via hand sketches, CAD programs, material sample presentations, and oral and written reports. This is an experienced-level design position with no supervisory responsibilities that reports to the Director of Marketing and Design.


Leads creation of conceptual floorplans, 3D models and elevations using CAD software.

Leads creation of color and material concept presentations.

Leads creation of color and material specification documents.

Leads creation of concepts for carpet and floor coverings, request quotes and prepare purchase requisitions.

Leads preparation of design presentations.

Leads creation of concept amenity presentations, procure samples and create purchase requisitions.

Contacts and maintains business relationships with product vendors.

Manages maintenance of vendor libraries.

Assists Project Designers in management of project activities as required.

Participates in company meetings and client design reviews as required; leads meetings as requested.

Coordinates design activities with other company departments as required.

Completes all assignments correctly and efficiently.

Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.


Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.

5+ years’ experience in aviation cabin design.

Experience with 3D CAD software.
