An Application Solution Developer in New York City is available through Modis. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of Charles River and trading functions within a buy side asset management firm. The Application Solution Developer will be responsible for writing robust front-end code using React frameworks and libraries.

Application Solution Developer responsibilities include:

Implement the front-end technical design and development. Write robust front-end code using React frameworks and libraries.
Develop rich, interactive data visualizations, and other dynamic features
Collaborate with business analysts to define business requirements.
Rapidly design, prototype and iterate on creative concepts to meet the user requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of Charles River ideal and/or trading function within a buy side asset management firm. Alladin, Latent Zero, Bloomberg are acceptable.
Automate test using tools like Junit, Jasmine in order to help the existing team move toward TDD.
Knowledge of Barra preferred.
Previous experience building solutions for BETA products, a plus.
Back-end development skills using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, is additional plus.
