Perform a variety of precision electromechanical assembly operations on subassemblies utilized in six different instrument types. Assembles, disassembles, repairs, connects and solders wires and connectors according to assembly instructions and engineering specifications and sketches when required


Perform general assembly on subassemblies utilizing appropriate assembly procedures
Hand crimping wire connectors
Soldering wires, PCBs, and subassemblies
Learn and perform basic troubleshooting protocols and rework for non-conforming units
Ability to be flexible and handle priority changes as they occur
Meet expected daily production requirement

Required Qualifications:

1-5 years experience assembling electromechanical devices and subassemblies
High school diploma or equivalent trade school education
Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the use of hand tools including soldering equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches, and heat guns
Thorough understanding of workmanship standards and quality control procedures including ESD compliance
Ability to work in a clean, contaminant free environment utilizing gloves during assembly operations
Must be results orientated and self-motivated
