A Bilingual (Korean) Customer Service Representative job in Austin, TX is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. You will need to have at least two years of previous customer service experience for this role, and feel comfortable speaking and writing to customers in Korean. This is a long-term opportunity with a world-wide engineering company with the possibility to convert to permanent.
You will be required to work a rotating schedule consisting of four, ten-hour day shifts. This is mainly a night shift position, working from 12:00am to 11:00am.





The Customer Service Representative job responsibilities include:

Assist customers with the availability of parts, process orders, confirm shipping locations and estimated times of arrival, order status, etc.
Log interaction with customers into internal software, capture the customer’s information and requests, and obtain information from SAP regarding customer-specific process and availability.
Enter Down Orders to expedited fulfillment team.
Provide periodic status reports to customers regarding their shipments and delivery information.
Assist customers with opening service orders which includes entering date from the call to SAP.
Assist with issuing Return Material Authorizations (RMA), repair services, generating metrics, working reports, system testing, etc.
Review and issue warranty claims, issue credit to customers, and order replacements parts as necessary.
Review Purchase Orders for accuracy and completeness, investigate and assist with reconciliations, and resolve errors to ensure accurate billing.


QUALIFICATIONS:

You must have good documentation and verbal communication skills. Writing, reading, and speaking fluently in the Korean language is required.
At least two years of customer service experience is required.
Customer service and interpersonal communications skilled required.
Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP, and be able to pick up new software systems quickly.
You must have a “can-do” attitude and have a creative approach to problem solving.
Working a rotating 10-hour shift schedule is required. Shift time is 12am Midnight - 11am with a one-hour lunch.
