A Bill of Material Specialist in Grand Rapids, MI is available through Modis Engineering. If you have experience with creating Bill of Material, you are encouraged to apply. In this rolw you will be reading and interpreting documents such as shop orders, bill of material, drawings and engineering documentation. In this role you will be responsible for creating sales change notices and complete engineering reports. This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Bill of Material Specialist job responsibilities include:
• Create new Bill of Materials (BOM) in AS400 as well as maintain and coordinate changes to existing Bill of Materials.
• Create specific truck manuals.
• Implement Engineering Change Orders as they relate to the Bill of Materials.
• Update manual information in quote writer, validate all manuals are there.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have experience with AS/400 or IBM iSeries
• Minimum of a High School Diploma required
• Able to communicate effectively with engineering staff
• Capability to manage projects while maintaining adherence to deadlines, policies and procedures.
