Modis is seeking a couple of Business Analysts (BA) for contract to hire jobs in Louisville, KY 40202.
 
The Business Analysts will work with business stakeholders to coordinate and detail incoming project requests. An ideal BA will need to have experience working with software development teams and know how to query a SQL database. This a great opportunity for a Business Analyst to propel a career with a solid and stable software development team in an Agile environment.  
 
Key Business Analyst Responsibilities:


  • Interact with the business organization at all levels, including executive management, to understand the business needs.
  • Gather business requirements from project stakeholders identifying potential solutions.
  • Translate the business requirements into functional requirements and create functional specification documents.
  • Design, guide and oversee the configuration and implementation of systems and solutions based on your functional specifications.
  • Configuration activities within various platforms to meet project requirements.
  • Present solutions to the stakeholders and facilitate the iterative refinement of the requirements
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with all impacted business areas.
  • Review and analyze results, assisting other business areas with issue resolution.
  • Contribute to final decisions regarding the readiness of production implementation.

 
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of performing BA work in a software development environment
  • Strong communication – ability to collaborate with various levels of stake holders and translate technical to non-technical users (and vice versa)
  • Proficient in SQL with experience in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Need to be able to handle support for variety of applications simultaneously
  • Understanding of Agile project management with SCRUM
  • Understanding of systems analysis and design methodologies
  • Experience in meeting facilitation
  • Understanding of ETL concepts

 
DESIRED (Nice to have’s) SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in an engagement center environment is ideal
