A top Fortune 500 American Brokerage and Banking looking to fill a Business Analyst/Project Manager job in Lone Tree, CO.
Candidate must be local to Denver area, must be able to work on a W2. This role is a hybrid role between a PM and BA, candidate must be comfortable performing aspects of both of these roles.
Job Responsibilities:
•Act as requirements project lead for medium to large projects, directing and coordinating requirements project staff and activities.
•Oversee production support of core projects, including gathering and documenting requirements, translating functional requirements to technical requirements, and identifying options.
•Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
•Coordinates development, testing, and implementation of solutions with vendors.
•Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with track record of delivering business process requirements and use cases is required.
The following is preferred but not required:
•Experience managing multiple large, complex and cross functional projects, with emphasis on systems, technologies, business process redesign, and knowledge of technical environments, a background in the financial services industry
•BA/BS degree and/or PMP certification.
•6-10 years’ experience, preferably in financial services, donor-advised funds, and/or non-profit industries
•Strong business analysis and related methodology skills; experience with iterative development methodologies (Agile Scrum, Rational Unified Process, etc)
•Ability to identify and analyze business and technology requirements; manages detailed project requirements for both business and technology across functional groups including traceability and changes
•Ability to deliver process models, pain points, business process analysis, requirements, business models, use cases/user stories; experienced with Visio, iGraphx, JIRA/Confluence, etc.
•Ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity
•A strong vision to right-size process to projects; diplomacy skills to facilitate discovery process and change management
•Ability to mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace
•Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision; both written and verbal ; bridge both business and technical teams and act as the liaison between the two.
•Outstanding facilitation and presentation skills; confident in presenting both strategic and tactical vision to the team and management for both big-picture planning and day-to-day management of project goal
•Focused and versatile team player, comfortable under pressure
•Experience working with co-located and distributed teams
•Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing
•Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
•Strong PC skills including MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
•Experience with technical product management a plus
