A Business Intelligence Project Manager job in Smyrna, GA is available through Modis. As the Business Intelligence Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of the Enterprise Reporting which includes data migration, DWH development, and reporting solutions. Partnering with Business Leaders to prioritize delivery of key metrics and reporting needs.

Location: Smyrna, GA
Job Type: Contract = 6+ Months (Any extension will be based upon worker performance and client business needs.)
Travel: Up to 20%

Top Skill Information and Job Scope:
• This PM will be focused on the merger activities.
• Will be working through some systems consolidation regarding the merger
• Needs to be ok with a level of uncertainty which tends to happen during a merger
• Needs to have a strong BI PM background.
• Doesn't need to be super technical but needs to understand Project Plans specific to BI initiatives
• Needs to have actively managed a DW Delivery, DW expansion and build out.
• Needs to be an influencer (a stakeholder might not see the need for reporting so you can't just take their word for it you might need to do some more digging, etc.)
• Their environment is MicroStrategy and Oracle DW but that isn't set in stone so they are flexible on the tools they've worked with.
• Needs to be strong with Tactical Delivery

BI Project Manager Job responsibilities include:
• Working across different IT delivery teams and engaging with other project managers to define and manage to the delivery plan, as well as capturing internal and external dependencies.
• Provide updates to the program and portfolio managers and engage in integrated cross-workstreams planning
• Provides effective leadership and management of the project team
• Manage reporting requirements and metrics definitions and delivery
• Identifies and communicates project risks and issues, managing mitigation and resolution
• Quality control management
• Explains technical project solution designs and associated labor estimates and project schedules to non-technical business partners and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Management required
• 5+ years of project management experience with primary focus on managing reporting and DWH delivery
• Familiarity with data warehouse and business intelligence principles and tools such as Oracle OBIEE, ETL Tools, MicroStrategy, SAP BO or similar products.
• Ability to build and manage plans in Microsoft Project
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in customer settings and with internal senior management.
• Solid active listening, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Solid knowledge of IT software development life cycle methodologies and processes.
• Ability to lead and motivate professionals to produce high quality results on time and within budget
• Experience managing off-shore resources
