Modis Burbank is looking for a Business Systems Analyst professional to be a part of a growing team. This is a great opportunity to be aligned with a well-established company and be on the ground floor of a newly formed core team. This would be ideal for someone looking to gain deeper knowledge as a Business Systems Analyst, with the ability to manage project and be proactively driving those projects.
 
Job Description:
The Business Systems Analyst is to assist in enhancing operational processes and customer solutions through process definition, application requirements, functional and configuration of end user transaction processing systems.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Understands business objectives and corresponding dependency on process improvements and application capabilities.
  • Interviews, reviews and documents business functions through process flows and use cases.
  • Performs competitive and market intelligence research to ensure best user experience.
  • Creates application requirements through numerous methods such as business or functional requirements, use cases, and wire frames.
  • Configures portions of the system such screen flow or page content based on collected requirements.
  • Creates project plans, estimates and status reports to ensure applications are delivered on time.
  • Work with Program Leads and Subject Matter Experts to define, manage and execute the requirements.
  • Tests application for required functionality changes and usability.  Ensures changes meet requirements.
  • Assists department managers with data and technology requirements needed to perform their daily tasks.
  • Serves as business partner for IT across multiple departments.
  • Flexible, project timeline driven.
  • Creates reports that capture required metrics by senior management and/or department heads.
  • Ensures developed tools are scalable to different products and customer requirements.

Bachelor’s degree.


  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a systems analyst role or related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of documenting processes and/or requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of the real estate and financial sector is preferable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills.
