Modis is looking for a Business Analyst in Raleigh, NC to drive foundational reporting, build solutions to meet business needs and come up with creative problem solving contributing to our client's business and a transformational effort that is changing the way we access and provide business insights.

• Provide business insights that explain the current state, help identify future opportunities and influence change.
• Leverage HR eco system in developing and delivering key data intelligence to improve the decision making process around people strategy.
• Drive reporting delivery to stakeholders by ensuring timely and consistent delivery of data.
• Utilize multiple data sources and platforms and provide recommendations around key technologies to help innovate, automate, and streamline data practices and consumption models.
• Develop and maintain dashboards around key investment areas and programs.
• Help define and drive data and analytics strategy for core programs and across the enterprise.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and provide business recommendations based on what the data is telling us.
• Develop a deep understanding of the HR data landscape, the flow of data between various systems and tools and be able to troubleshoot complex discrepancies in data.
• Perform root cause analysis when issues occur or improvements are stalled. Identify & implement solutions and measure their improvements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Leadership team and help determine root cause of issues.
• Be a change agent for continuous improvements and quick wins.
• Demonstrate the ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to a constantly changing business environment, work independently, drive projects to completion, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 5 to 7 years of BI experience (Business Analyst or BI Consultant) providing data analytics and enabling business insights ideally in HR environment.
2. Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with data analytics and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy).
3. Ability to synthesize complex data sets into actionable business insights and recommendations.
4. Passionate about data and deriving insights from data
5. Excellent written and verbal communication and influence skills
6. Enjoys working with complex data sets
7. Self-starter with demonstrated commitment and energy
8. Strong data analytics and data accuracy skills
9.Critical thinker who seeks to understand end-to-end process and data flows
