CLAIMS EXAMINER NEEDED IN GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA FOR OUR FORTUNE 250 FINANCIAL SERVICES CLIENT
 
Our Fortune 250 Financial Services client is seeking a full-time Claims Examiner to join their team on-contract for approximately 11 months.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Processing follow-up correspondences on standard claims
• Ensuring the fair, ethical and timely processing of assigned claims.
• Processing assigned claims for follow up in accordance with established procedures and guidelines in a timely manner.
• Meeting departmental quality/production standards.
• Making routine and non-routine decisions under close supervision.
• Applying limited discretion within the role except for significant matters affecting business.
• Applying core knowledge obtained from the role to effectively communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Obtaining needed information while being professional during all interactions.
• Providing superior customer service to internal and/or external stakeholders.
• Recognizing what needs to be done to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to meet customer needs.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong written skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal documents such as policy and procedures and  standard operating procedures
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
