A CMM Programmer job in Warsaw, IN is available courtesy of Modis Engineering and Technology. You will write CMM programs in PC-DMIS software in WINDOWS operating system. You will also be responsible for developing calibration methods, and facilitate continuous improvement efforts within the department

CMM Programmer job responsibilities include:
• Responsible for developing quality plans, implementing SPC, and working with QA to develop a barrier-free work environment
• Research and acquire new measurement standards and technologies as required to meet company demands.
• Provide guidance to others throughout the company in assessing measurement process variability and uncertainty
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with OCPs and GMPs

• Prefer a degree in industrial, mechanical, bio-medical engineering, other engineering science, or combination of education and experience.
• Must have 5 years of metrology experience in physical and electrical disciplines, preferably in a medical device manufacturing operation.
• Thorough knowledge of FDA / ISO standards relating to test and measurement requirements. These include, but are not limited to GMP, ISO 17025 and ISO 13485.
• Knowledge of statistical tools used to evaluate measurement variability and uncertainty. These include GR&R, DOM, use of PPAP and FAL
