The CNC Programmer Mill performs highly diversified machining operations using both manual and CNC milling equipment. This position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment that has changing demand throughout the course of the shift, so flexibility is essential.




Responsibilities




Machine & Tooling Selection.
Utilize CAD/CAM - specifically AutoDesk, MasterCAM, Featurecam
Writes programs, performs machine setups and operates CNC equipment.
Must determine and maintain the proper operational sequences.
Make all necessary mathematical calculation to complete the job.
Maintain and repair shop equipment as required.
Create set ups and communicate to others while continuing onto other programming requirements.
Interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form.
Able to quickly shift priorities, collaborate effectively with others, maintain positive working relationships, and have high personal standards for job accomplishment.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures as well as sanitation regulations
Manage priorities as they change throughout a shift





Qualifications




7+ years progressive experience in Computer Numeric Control machining is required: Operate, Setup, Programming.
High school or trade school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience
Journeyman papers are preferred.
Attention to detail, proficiency in math
Experience using AutoCAD, CAM,MasterCAM,and/or FeatureCAM is needed
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must possess strong knowledge of G & M code programming - FANUC controls primarily
Experience using a variety of the following equipment is preferred: DOOSAN, FANUC CNC Milling, Mulit-axis (4th & 5th), Mill Turn.
Must possess strong problem solving skills, excellent materials knowledge, and be familiar with post-production finishing operations.
Previous Prototyping experience is a plus.
