A CNC Repair Technician job in Grand Rapids, MI is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. In this position you will maintain and repair CNC equipment; work from drawings and diagrams and follow verbal and written instructions; Successfully replace ball screws, bearings, spindles and other parts as needed. Must have 3 – 5 years experience repairing and maintaining 3 and 5 axis CNC Mills and Lathes. This is a 1st shift position!

CNC Repair Technician job responsibilities include:
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
• Successfully replace ball screws, bearings, spindles, encoders and power modules
• Assess and utilize correct equipment to meet customer requirements to create a part that meets quality standards
• Must understand and complete labor and time sheets accurately

• 3 – 5 years experience repairing and maintaining 3 and 5 axis CNC Mills and Lathes
• Specific experience with: Maho mills, DMG mills, Boko mill, Mazak mills, FPT mill, AWEA mills,Saelo mill, Doosan lath and Century Vertical Turning Center
• Must demonstrate understanding of quality standards methods and reporting
• Journeyman Machine Repair Certification preferred but not required
