Modis has an immediate opening for a 6 month contract-to-hire Front-end Full Stack Developer Job in San Diego, CA!

Job description:


•Transform wireframes, visual design files, and assets into cutting-edge, customer-facing screens
•Build proofs-of-concept and functional prototypes for usability testing
•Contribute to the development of our Global UI framework and guidelines
•Create and maintain reusable code, framework libraries, and components
Qualifications
•4+ years' experience writing both hand-coded and framework-assisted designs
•Experience with JQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, Bootstrap, and Foundation
•Experience with SASS and LASS development
•Experience building responsive and mobile interfaces
•Experience as a User Experience designer or experience working with UX/UI designers
•Know and use current web standards in order turn static designs interactive without losing any creative impact
•Well-considered opinions both about what makes for a good user experience and the technical specifics of how to build one
•Strong knowledge Adobe CC (Photoshop , Illustrator), Axure, and Sketch
•Comfortable taking ownership of your work
•A talent for clear and friendly communication
•A keen eye for detail and a taste for aesthetics
•Must have a strong portfolio of previous work
