OBJECTIVE: To accomplish the compliance testing of assigned projects and provide technical leadership. These projects will include testing of production products, research into new technologies, testing on modified existing products, and product bring up and staging of equipment as necessary.
• Staging, bring up, lab personnel oversight and testing of Infinera specified equipment at MET Labs
• Chassis cabling per NEBS cable tree arrangement
• Set-up and tear down chassis assembly for testing scenarios
• Work with agencies for specific agency testing
• Create lists/component identification for agency testing
• Work with groups within company to provide necessary documentation to testing lab/agencies
• Assemble/dis-assemble FRUs as needed
•Assume responsibility for testing product line.  Debug and bring up equipment as needed
• Effective, on-time accomplishment of tasks
• Clarity of project status company-wide
• Variety of tasks accomplished
• Recognition as an “authority” in one or more areas
Good judgment relating to time management of total workload Follow through on ideas
• BSEE or equivalent, MSEE preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compliance testing
• Field expert in areas of compliance; i.e., EMI, Safety, Environmental NEBS testing experience required
• Familiarity with telecom equipment required Fluent in written and verbal English
