A Contract Attorney in Beaverton, OR is available courtesy of Modis. Candidates will have a Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited U.S. law school, have an active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and have class action and/or mass tort experience.


Contract Attorney Job Responsibilities:

We have an immediate need for attorneys who will be critical members of a project team responsible for handling product liability class action litigation and mass tort matters.

The attorneys will perform various duties including but not limited to:

· Analyzing claim documents
· Preparing detailed responses to sometimes complex written inquiries of claimants and counsel
· Fielding sometimes complex telephone inquiries from claimants and counsel
· "Best-in-class” customer service is expected to be provided to both internal and external clients. The highest levels of professionalism, responsiveness and quality of work are required.

Qualifications

· JD from an accredited U.S. law school (foreign law degree may suffice)
· Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
· Class action and/or mass tort experience a plus
· Attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task
· Flexibility
· Customer service approach
