A Controls Engineer job in Troy, MI is available through Modis Engineering. To perform this job successfully the candidate must have 3+ years of experience working around controls and robotics. Looking for a candidate who has experience with PLC controls, Industrial robots, and HMIs experience. NOT looking for job hoppers. DIRECT HIRE!! Must be authorized to work in the US for ANY employer. Controls Engineer job responsibilities include:
• Create electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Create bills of materials (BOMs)
• Interface with electricians to ensure electrical panels are built properly, and all field wiring/plumbing is completed consistent with all relevant electrical codes.
• Test and verify all I/O, safety circuits, ect.
• Software Development.
• System Installations, Startup, and Training.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university or minimum 3 years related experience and/or training
• Must have PLC experience, preferably Allen-Bradley.
• Industrial robots and HMI experience is a must.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
