A Customer Support Engineer job in Denver, CO is available through Modis. As the Customer Support Engineer, you will be working to provide second line support, focusing on the UBR10k product. You will need to have experience with routers and switches, and have interacted with customers previously. You will need to work well under pressure, and stressful situations, along with having strong communication and collaboration abilities.

This is a long term contract on W2.

No C2C or Third party candidates will be considered.

Customer Support Engineer job responsibilities include:
• Provide second line phone/email/fax consultation to independently debug complex product problems.
• Perform break-fix Service Request case handling for Cisco's largest SP customers involving Routing, IOS-XR and Switching technologies. Products this position will support include: ASR9k, CRS-1, CRS-3, 7600, Catalyst 6500, GSR/C12k, UBR10k
• Works independently, receiving minimal supervision, with no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments
• Acts as a technical expert in Routing / Switching.

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field
• Strong knowledge of telecommunication and networking environments, specifically with UBR10k and ASR9k products
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, along with strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Able to perform under pressure, and stay calm in stressful situations, while working to find solutions
