Primary day to day responsibilities for this Data Analyst:
• Data mining and validation, identify data sources, develop data driven decision making mindsets, and facilitate the build of analytics skillsets with developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Technical Experience include:
• Ensure alignment across the department by developing marketing strategies, product practices, agile skillsets, and data/metrics practices.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders on data analysis and reporting projects
• Facilitate building analytics skillsets around driven practices and analysis techniques with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders
• Identify data source structures and volumes
• Work across domains to extract data from applications, systems & technologies
• Analyze, reconcile, and validate key business metrics across systems and business areas to ensure consistent and reliable use of metrics. Clean, consolidate and integrate data where applicable to create clearer context and ensure data is ready for reporting processes.
• Validate data by working with engineering and product teams where necessary to scrub or correct data errors, either at the source or within the reporting systems.
• Responsible for developing and implementing data collection systems for use by stakeholders and for providing technical expertise regarding data models and data mining. This includes assessing, collecting, analyzing, visualizing, distributing and sustaining self-service data solutions
• Responsible for writing queries and extracting data to populate dashboards.
• Responsible for creating dashboards aligned to data visualization, best practices, possessing and maintaining strong technical skills, and learning quickly and on the fly.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance the team’s analytical capabilities by evaluating current processes, working with business partners, and taking initiative to discuss new and improved approaches.
• Performs data analysis and interpretation, reveals new findings and insights, and highlights business implications.
• Assists business areas with targeted analysis related to strategic metrics
Location: Downtown Milwaukee  
Contract Duration: 2018-03-27 to 2018-08-26
Compensation / Pay Rate: $30-35 / hour W2
Hours: First shift - 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
