A Data Center Design Engineer job in Houston, TX is available through Modis Engineering. You will be responsible for collaborating with the business analyst and ETL designer to resolve gaps between the business requirements and ETL design specifications and ensuring these decisions are documented. The shift is first shift. This is a 12-month contract opportunity. The salary range for this position is between $38.00 and $41.00 per hour. Local candidates preferred. Sponsorship not available.

Data Center Design Engineer job responsibilities include:
• Translates business requirements into a technical solution that can be implemented.
• Produces detailed ETL specifications consistent with the high-level ETL design specifications and Roadmap.
• Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating design and scope issues.
• Analyzes sources, targets and defines data flows and dependencies.
• Participates in business requirements, data model, ETL and database design reviews.
• Coordinates with data modelers, ETL developers and DBA’s implementing the solution.
• Helps builds consensus around the data models and ETL solution with the client and developers.
• Participates in ETL system and integration testing.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two to four years of experience required.
• Experience with Palantir Technologies REQUIRED
