Modis currently has a contract opportunity for a Desktop Technician Job in downtown Nashville, TN.  The company offers a great work/life balance and an opportunity for growth. This project will include installing Windows 10 on approximately 200 desktop computers and laptops, customizing the user experience, and installing software to meet employee needs. The ideal candidate would have experience with technical support or hardware installations.
Desktop Technician Job Responsibilities:

  • Contractor will replace older computers with the Windows 10 devices in employee offices and return old devices to storage to prepare for surplus
  • Contractor will fulfill any additional needs that the employee requests, including software and printer drivers
  • Contractor will be expected to fulfill the described duties in addition to similar and/or related duties regarding the installed/to be installed base of devices the agency has/or is installing

Desktop Technician Job Skills Required:

  • At least 1 year of experience with hardware installations or technical support
  • Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs repeatedly
