A Die Repairperson job in Kentwood, MI is available through Modis Engineering. If you have die repair experience in a metal stamping or laser cutting industry, you are encouraged to apply to this position. In this role you will be responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of all dies. Additionally, you will rework damaged components and set up and operate machinery. The hours of this position are 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm.
Die Repairperson job responsibilities include:
• Repair, maintain and troubleshoot all dies
• Study blueprints, sketches, models or specifications to plan sequence of operations for fabricating tools, dies or assemblies
• Repair large progressive, transfer and deep draw dies
• File, grind, shim and adjust parts for proper fit

• Experience with die repair and troubleshooting
• Experience with CAD software is desired
• Background in metals
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints
