Our client located in Century City, CA has an opportunity for a Director of IT Security & Infrastructure to join their team.
 
The Director of IT Security and Infrastructure has responsibility for providing a secure, compliant, robust, reliable, scalable, effective, and efficient technology systems infrastructure, and will direct the daily and ongoing operational support of the infrastructure. Doing so includes the overseeing of all production platforms, and ensuring the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the network, servers, telecommunications services, audio-visual systems, and related technologies.
 
Additionally, this role serves to oversee the Information Security aspects of IT for the enterprise, including conducting periodic IT security assessments, planning for and undertaking systems security remediation and mitigation, aiding in awareness programs for the enterprise about the importance of proper systems security practices, taking point on responding to any security incidents or breeches, and otherwise having a leadership role in strategically and tactically achieving a highly secure systems environment for the enterprise.
 
This position requires exceptional communication skills and attention to detail, as well as building and maintaining positive business relationships within the organization as well as with clients and vendors. The role will work closely with a multitude of business units across the enterprise. A significant portion of the effort will also involve performing support activities in conjunction with the support team, aiding in the troubleshooting of tickets that pertain to existing applications.
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Oversee the IT infrastructure of the enterprise and ensure its proper operation
• Leadership of the IT Security aspects of the enterprise to ensure a secure systems environment
• Develops, prepares, recommends IT budget aspects for infrastructure related purchases
• Works collaboratively with business units
• Responds and takes point to resolve infrastructure outage issues and IT security incidents
• Confers with IT support and aids in resolving systems issues
 
Requirements:
 
• 5+ years as a manager of IT infrastructure
• 12+ years of IT experience with progressive progression in IT roles
• Desirable to have IT experience that includes the application side and the support side of IT
• Current certification in various infrastructure technologies such as the CCIE, JNCIE-ENT, MCSE
• Well versed in IT security with prior experience in IT security roles, certification as CISM or CISSP is desirable
• Has worked in small/mid-sized IT groups, fast-paced multi-tasking and multi-role efforts
• In-depth hands-on experience in Microsoft Enterprise including SCCM, SCOM, Azure, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Barracuda, Mitel, or similar technologies
• Experience with Apple networking and Apple systems
• Preference for Entertainment/CPG industry experience
• Considered a plus to have any Finance, Real Estate, New Ventures industry experience
• Must have prior experience in any web-based applications deployment and maintenance
• Highly professional demeanor and approach to IT work efforts
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical problem solving skills: able to resolve problems, examine opportunities for process improvements and formulate an implementation approach
• Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical aspects in appropriate terms to the business units and the technical team
• Self-managed, highly motivated and results-oriented
• Collaborative and easy to work with
• Skilled at managing priorities and meeting deadlines in a complex environment
• Experience in managing third-party vendor relationships
• Bachelor’s Degree or combination of relevant education and experience
• MBA or equivalent is a plus
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio
