Modis is looking for a Document Management lead and Solutions Architect for our client's digitization project. Our client is looking for someone with OCR implementation experience to digitize all locations to ensure all documents are stored electronically in a centralized data repository.

  • This role will be involved with a project to digitize all locations to ensure all documents are stored electronically in a centralized data repository.  
  • Individual will interface with all manufacturing sites globally and collect data related to the types of engineering documents, locations and methods of storage, how the data is accessed and frequency.
  • Some work may need to be done in the early morning or late evening
  • Heavy involvement in solution development and alternative determination
  • Help determine which scanning vendor/solution
  • Help coordinate site deployment activities

Knowledge of Engineering documentation and terminology (P&IDs, PFDs, ISOs)
Document management systems
OCR/Digitization experience
Strong communication skills required (in person interaction, email/phone/IMs)
Ability to work with variety of cultures and for which English is not their primary language.
Able to collect, consolidate, analyze and develop reports on data collected
Should be familiar with engineering and manufacturing technical terms
Light technical background preferred
