Drupal Engineer
 
The Sr. Engineer will be building and maintaining a state-of-the-art sports content management system Responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining features of company’s web sites and the internal systems used to create them. The developer works as part of a group of passionate technologists with a clear charter to deliver the best possible sports-related web and mobile applications available. Each member of the team works with a wide degree of creativity and latitude in an innovative, fast paced and high visibility team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop features for the company's webiste
• Implement sophisticated user interfaces using industry standard technologies and techniques
• Support web servers and other servers via scheduled maintenance, performance tuning, and monitoring
• Provide feasibility reviews for potential new projects, including development effort estimates
• Build applications to agreed upon specifications within the required timeframe and budget
• Architect new features in the Drupal CMS and manage the implementation of all CMS features
• Demonstrate deep understanding of LAMP performance and configuration
• Conduct peer-reviews of PHP application code, ensuring that all code complies with team standards
• Work with Database Developers to design new features with attention to performance and scalability
• Work with Customer Service and QA to identify and address reported issues quickly and effectively
 
Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum three (3) years developing web sites using PHP
• Minimum three (1) year of experience with Drupal
• Must be willing to work in Orlando, Fl
• Understanding of Drupal theming and module development
• Proficient in coding PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery
• Ability to integrate into a large agile development project and manage rapid development cycles
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to both technical and non-technical resources
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
