JOB SUMMARY:


  • Responsible for providing process support to users of electronic data interchange transaction processes by direct contact or indirect methods
  • Primary duties: Respond to EDI inquiries and/or requests for assistance from customers and peers via phone, email and live chat
  • Identify, research and investigate questions and problems and resolve "on-the-spot", call back or refer to other associates for assistance as needed.
  • Stay current on updates to software in use, changes in electronic file formats, or changes in regulations that impact the exchange of data
  • Participate in the design of business cases for testing and in release testing of standard systems
  • Assists in department initiatives to improve performance, produce reports, and introduce system enhancements
  • Provide guidance and/or training to lower leveled associates or external customers

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong and Proficient knowledge of all aspects or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) including but not limited to the following transactions. (835, 837I and P, 270/271, 276/277, 278, 277CA, 864, 834 and 820
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 5+ years EDI customer support
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a given day
  • Experienced telephone Service Desk agent
  • Experienced with Live Chat interactions and support
  • SQL and query creation
  • Microsoft office Suite ( Word Excel, Access)
  • Unix ( helpful)
  • sFTP knowledge helpful
  • Para-technical service desk support experience
  • Associates degree in relevant discipline preferred
