Editorial Operations job in Cupertino, CA is available through Modis Engineering. This is a full-time contractor position located in Cupertino. This is a hands-on position assisting News' editorial operations team on a daily basis, responsible for content review and submissions to News and supporting the needs of the editorial operations team.

Editorial Operations-Responsibilities:


Detail and process-oriented, organized and an independent worker.
Editorial experience in news media, preferable.
Strong communication skills and an ability to grasp technical concepts will be instrumental to success in this position.

Qualifications:
• 1-2 years’ experience in an editorial role, preferably at a news media organization.
• Familiarity with the technology behind RSS, XML, web-based editing tools and content management systems.
• Regular consumer of digital media and familiarity with the digital news space.
• Excellent written communication skills, both for editorial and technical communications.
• Strong time-management skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Results oriented, energetic and focused with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to details.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency with Excel, Numbers and Keynote.
