An Electrical Designer job in Kernersville, NC is available through Modis Engineering. This is an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing integrator that is looking to add talent to support their long term business needs. The ideal candidate for the Electrical Designer position will possess technical training specific to Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's Degree preferred), and at least five years of experience working in a similar capacity to what is portrayed here. The Electrical Designer will work with project teams to develop accurate and on-time electrical system documentation with 100% customer satisfaction.


Experience in the design of power (480 VAC and below), I/O and industrial networking systems for industrial automation systems
Experience designing per NEC, NFPA 79 and UL508A (CSA and CE helpful)
Experience designing back panel and enclosure layouts
Ability to read spec or quotation and develop complete drawing sets for manufacturing and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Promis.E
