An Electrical Designer job is available in Baltimore MD, courtesy of Modis IT & Engineering. This person must have a minimum of two years electrical design experience. This role will be responsible the preparation of documents for the planning, engineering and design of essential power systems, ancillary power systems and controls. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical work background. Electrical Designer job responsibilities include:


Responsible for the design, verification and modification to manufacturing facility electrical drawings (power distribution, panel layouts, controls, and equipment electrical schematics).
Design monitoring, protective relay schemes, and fire alarm systems.
Responsible for checking incoming vendor documentation.
Responsible for inputting vendor documentation into facility database per required CAD standards.
Assist facility personnel with requests for researching, plotting and creation of new drawings as needed


Able to work in the United States
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent with AutoCAD and Revit
Experienced using MicroSoft Word and Excel
Willing to travel for project work
Min. 2 years electrical design experience desirable
