A full time Electrical Engineer - Power job in San Leandro, CA is available through Modis. The position is in the product development group and reports to the Director of Engineering. The Electrical/Power Engineer provides excellence in the design of electrical power generation systems. In this role, you will support projects diagnosing issues and proposing solutions. Electrical Engineer - Power job responsibilities include:
• Diagnose electrical systems
• Propose solutions
• Support projects

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, from an accredited university required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressively complex electrical engineering and project management experience spanning both system design and field work.
• Electrical design of hydraulic turbine driven power generation equipment.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving electronic and hydraulic systems: controls, motors, VFDs, generators, instrumentation.
• Willing to travel out of state as needed.
