An Electrical Engineer job in Billerica, MA is available courtesy of Modis. This position is responsible for developing digital and analog circuit designs for embedded systems in the life science space.

Electrical Engineer job responsibilities include:


Develop hardware for embedded systems used in various products in the areas of medical technology and laboratory automation, such as dosing systems, flow-controlled or pressure-controlled systems for the handling of various media
Design and calculate digital and analog circuits with the startup of the hardware and verification
Responsible for the definition of hardware requirements, as well as their technical realization
Develop hardware solutions that can be produced cost-effectively and with high quality on time and are closely aligned with software development, testing and purchasing
Design and implement Software modules optimally representing the customer’s requirements, both embedded and PC based (e.g. NI LabVIEW)


QUALIFICATIONS:


5+ years' experience with digital and analog circuity design, microcontrollers, design verification testing and integration
Bachelor or Master of Science' degree
Very good knowledge in digital and analog circuit technology, in digital signal processing and transmission, as well as in electrical measurement technology and EMC
Knowledge both on closed loop controlling algorithms and network technology / interfaces (Ethernet, RS232, CAN-Bus, I²C)
Software engineering skill for embedded systems (e.g. C, C++), PC based (e.g. C#, NI LabVIEW, JAVA) and PLC/ CODESYS are advantageous
Strong team spirit, flexibility and self-management
