A Sr. Electrical Engineer position is available in Tucson , AZ through Modis Engineering. The right candidate will be closely working with the client company's R&D team to build and develop ECU(Electronic Control Unit, Including Vehicle Control Unit and other ECU) hardware as well as design wiring harness diagram for an autonomous vehicle.

● Benchmark and communicate with semiconductor suppliers to find solutions and select chips
● Design and execute key tests for new chip selection
● Design electronic hardware functional diagram
● Calculate electronic hardware key parameters and WCCA
● Prepare electronic hardware requirements, electronic hardware design and FMEA documents
● Design schematic module and system schematic
● PCB layout (With thermal and vibration analysis)
● Build PCB process and production requirement
● Implement verification, validation, and compliance tests
● Design wiring harness for whole autonomous system environment

● M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Consideration will be given to
exceptional B.S. candidates as well
● Years of experience: 5-10 years
● Experience developing commercial product to completion in Automotive and Aerospace
● Demonstrated PCB design experience (schematic diagram, PCB layout,
● Deep understanding of power, cooling, and shock/vibration constraints in a vehicle
Experience designing single board computer systems, preferably ARM based, targeted to
mobile environments
● Experience completing verification, validation, and compliance testing (ISO 16750/ SAE
