Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
 
As an electrical engineer for our client in Skaneateles, NY, you will work with cross-functional teams focused on development of new products within R&D.
 
You will lead electrical hardware development in new products as well as product changes to support business growth and compliance updates.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
As a contributing team member on New Product Development teams, you will apply advanced Electrical Engineering principles toward innovation and new concept development, and problem solving such as analog and digital embedded electrical design for 4th ed. compliance, technical specification development, and component selection.
 
This will include understanding advanced electrical troubleshooting methods and being able to communicate with colleagues and senior leadership on design merit and issue resolution.
 
Other Key Responsibilities Include:
 
Act as electrical team leader on 1-3 projects
 
Ability to conceive, design, and build prototypes.
 
May manage resources (technicians and co-ops) to solve technical problem
 
Experience:
 
Experience with Cadence Allegro, MathCAD, and PSpice a plus.
 
EM EMC/ESD facility experience a plus.
 
Proficient in RF Concepts-Network Analysis and Measurement
 
Knowledgeable with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, network analyzer, DMM, etc.
