An Electro-Mechanical Assembler job in Austin, TX is available through Modis. Electro-Mechanical Assembler job responsibilities include:
• Testing, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating complex semiconductor fabrication equipment and/or sub-assemblies (including microprocessors) consisting of electronic, mechanical, vacuum, fluid flow, and/or pneumatic sub-systems.
• Work with basic electro/mechanical schematics, diagrams, simple written and/or verbal descriptions, and simple layouts to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
• Writes simple test procedures.
• Performs simple operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Understanding or experience with assembly of electronics, electronics, wiring, cable harnessing, and/or power supplies.
• Experience with hand tools and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability troubleshoot and ask questions when needed.
• DESIRE to learn new skills and take initiative
