An Electronic Repair Technician job in Mount Juliet, TN is available through Modis Engineering on a long term open-ended contract-to-hire basis. You must have experience in soldering, using Oscilloscopes, Multi-Meters, Spectrum Analyzers, and reading schematics. By using your expertise, you will be working in our client's refurbishing department troubleshooting and fixing circuit boards.

Electronic Repair Technician job responsibilities include:
• Test and repairs electric components
• Troubleshoots to the component level
• Surface Mount/Through-Hole Soldering
• Restore work on circuit boards
• Reads and works from schematics


• Associates in Electronics or equivalent experience
• Possess soldering and de-soldering skills
• Must have heat gun / heat wave soldering experience
• Through Hole Soldering preferred
• Lead free soldering experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Knowledge in EPROM, DSP, CODEC, or CAN considered a plus
• Ability to work 2nd shift 2:30pm - 11pm
