Electronics Repair Technician Job in South Bend, IN
 
A global company in logistics and repairs is looking to fill an Electronics Repair Technician Job in South Bend, IN. The ideal candidate will be able to work from schematics and hold at least an associates degree or comparable military experience.
 
Skills Required:


  • Component level troubleshooting and repairs
  • Reading and comprehending schematics
  • Testing equipment: Oscilloscope, soldering iron and spectrum analyzer
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient on computers

 
Education Required:

  • GED or HS Diploma
  • 2 year degree in electronics or military experience preferred
  • Certifications preferred

 
Shift Expectations:

  • 2nd Shift M-F 2:30PM - 11:00PM
  • 3rd Shift M-F 11:30PM - 7:30AM

 
Interview Skills Assessment Set-up:

  • The interview will consist of the candidate sitting down with a current technician
  • Candidates will be tested to see if they understand schematic symbols, can de-solder and solder, and the ability to use a heat gun and soldering iron.
