Modis Engineering is currently recruiting for a Sr. Engineering Services Technician job opportunity located in Burlington, MA. The Sr. Engineering Services Technician is responsible for the test, qualification, use and analytical activities associated with the development and production of active-alignment capital equipment. This role provides additional diagnostic support to the manufacturing group when required.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading optoelectronics manufacturing company.

Sr. Engineering Services Technician job responsibilities include:

Detailed understanding of elementary assembly, repair and test processes & procedures
Provide support to the development/execution of DOE, CPK analysis, Gage R & R studies and other tools for group projects
Ability to write reports pertaining to project experiments
Perform experiments to ensure results obtained are specific to goals set
General knowledge of hardware, test equipment and program languages used by the group
Operate, maintain and calibrate equipment to specifications
Support manufacturing and/or test groups with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
Comply with time tracking procedures for all work performed
General lab maintenance and cleanliness
- Travel may be required domestically
Provide support through participation in the continuous improvement effort and promotion of a "Quality First" attitude


QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s degree OR equivalent combination of applicable experience and training
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working with high-volume manufacturing equipment

Education & Experience Requirements
- Associate’s degree OR equivalent combination of applicable experience and training
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with high-volume mafufacturing equipment
