An entry level drafter job in Georgetown, TX is available through Modis. You must have design or drafting experience using AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Pro E. You will be drafting plans for a leading engineering firm that consult for the telecommunications industry. You must have a passion for drafting and design and a willingness to work overtime when needed. Depending on level of experience, you will be working in both Round Rock, TX or Georgetown, TX location. This is a second shift (Monday- Thursday) and is a long term contract to hire.

Drafter job responsibilities include:
• Draft plans for the telecommunications industry
• Fiber Optic/ Coax Design
• As-Built Mapping
• Project cost estimation

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates Degree or certification in Drafting or equivalent work experience
• One to two years of drafting/designing experience preferred
• GIS or mapping experience a plus
• MicroStation experience a plus
